The RANCH

ACREAGE & DISTRIBUTION

Approximately 537 acres of the ranch was high fenced approximately 20 years ago with approximately 30 acres along the Leon River and its floodplain being left low fenced which provides for free range hunting for deer, hogs, turkey, etc.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

WILDLIFE & GENETICS

The owners started genetically enhancing the Whitetail Deer herd about 12 years ago, focusing on large typical framed bucks, which is evidenced by the photos on this website.

Most recently, in April 2024, the ranch released 5 bred does which had 5 fawns and 2 yearling does purchased from the Hatada Ranch located in Valley Mills, Texas. In addition to the whitetail deer herd, there are approximately 20-25 Blackbuck antelope, 20-25 Axis deer, 10-12 Scimitar-Horned Oryx, 3 Blue Wildebeest, 10-12 Common Waterbuck and generally a very strong population of wild turkey.
